My girlfriend and I have 7 beautiful rescue dogs that come from all different backgrounds our oldest is 15 and our youngest just turned 2. I only work part time so that I can spend as much time as possible out exploring with our dogs. We go on hikes at least 3 times a week and we do 5+ miles on each hike and we do neighborhood walk on the days we don’t go hiking. One of the best and most rewarding things I have ever done in rescuing a 16 year old Chihuahua mix named Camino from the shelter (3rd picture is of him) He had been at the shelter for 3 months and when they did a clear the shelter event every dog in the shelter except him got adopted and that broke our heart so we went and picked him up, He had 3 teeth and was mostly blind and deaf, we only had him for 10 months and we just recently lost him but I like to think it was the best 10 months of his life! I would do anything for my dogs, these are just a few ways I go to the ends of the earth for them. Thanks for reading our story!

  1. These dogs look very happy, healthy, and so well behaved. This seems to be one big happy family. So much love and care! I am glad you have rescued dogs.

  2. These dogs are my favorite dogs in the whole in entire world. They’re such good dogs. I love every single one of them to death!❤️❤️

  3. Our dogs are so well behaved and amazing , I could not imagine my life without them , there is no one in this earth that takes better care and spends more time and devotion with there dogs ! They truly are our lives

  4. These are my granddogs they are the most well taken care for and spoiled dogs I know , my daughter and her partner take such good care of them , they are walked everyday fed the best food and even sleep in the bed with them all 7! I’ve never met 2 people more passionate about the dogs , they truly are thier kids and thier life ❤️

  5. My daughter loves these dogs more then anything in the world. She spends all her time caring for them. I never met anyone so dedicated to taking the absolute best care of their dogs. She has rescued every one of them and brought them into the best home they could possibly ask for!

  6. You guys are awesome! I love how well you guys take care of your dogs! I can feel the love you have for each one of your babies! You are such amazing pet parents who go above and beyond the call of duty for your puppies. Good luck you guys! Love y’all!

  7. I have known Ariel since we were in high school, I have seen her go from 1 dog to having 7 and fostering. I have seen her sadness when she has lost her old dogs and her joy when she’s adopted new ones. She’s adopted puppies and old dogs. She’s fostered senior and sick dog. I can without a doubt say I have never met anyone who is so dedicated to their dogs. If anyone deserves to be recognized for going to the ends of the eart for their dogs and other people’s dogs it her!

  8. I’ve never known anyone to be better puppy parents than Ariel and her partner, Jess. All 7 dogs, including their new foster, are an extension of themselves. Their dogs aren’t their pets, they are their children. Ariel puts in all her time, effort and love into her children better than anyone I’ve ever known. She makes sure they eat the best food, get the most exercise and they are well loved and will live long, healthy lives. Her life revolves around her children and she knows so much that I check with her before I make any changes to my dog’s life because I know she will always know what is best. To say she is a one of a kind is an understatement but it’s the only way to describe her. She has such an incredible heart and is always willing to do whatever she can to help any dog out. Those people who would give you the shirt off their back….well, she would give a dog her bed, her food, her shelter and her last penny to make their life even just a little bit better. There are only so many people in the world who would see a single, unloved, old unwell dog left at a shelter and run out to rescue him and make him part of her family without question or thought of herself. If anyone deserves to win this contest and more, it’s Ariel! 🙂 Love y’all and crossing fingers that the RIGHT PERSON (you, duh!) wins!! <3 <3 <3

  9. I just want to thank everyone for all of the support since we entered the contest! Me and all the kids (including foster dog Gracie Lynn) appreciate it very very much!

  10. Thanks for rescuing! I volunteer for an organisation in Hungary to help find abandoned dogs and cats a loving home! Sometimes I can’t cope with all the mean thinks humans can think of to torture those lovely creatures. But when I see stories like yours, I am happy to see that there is a loving god sending angels such as you are to give these lovebugs eventually peace <3

    1. Thank you, some of the things our dogs went through before they came to us is heart breaking. Sometimes even after they are given up the mental and sometimes even the physical wounds don’t heal all the way. No matter what happening in my life I will always have rescue dogs. Nothing is more satisfying then having them look up at you one day and you can see in their eyes that they now know they are in a safe place where they will be loved for the rest of their lives!

  11. They are well behaved, trained and loved. You gals spend so much time, energy and love into them. If I were a dog I’d want to be yours.
